Dr. Acar was born in Germany, where he completed his primary and secondary education. He then returned to Turkey and undertook his bachelor’s degree in medicine completing it in 2005 from the University of Istanbul Çapa Medical Faculty.

Dr. Acar is a member of the ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery) and he joins in regularly on all the important international congresses which represents the pinnacle of advancements and discussions for the hair restoration Industry. At the international congress of Praga in October 2017 he most notably received praise and a special mention for the case ‘2017 which was a live patient viewing presenting physician because of his excellent results in the field.

Dr. Acar has created a team of professionals and experts with which he daily performs hair transplant surgeries with. For the extraction, he uses a micro-engine with a punch whose dimensions usually are between 0,4 and 0,8 mm (depending on the characteristics of the patient).

Dr. Acar is known for his lateral slit technique for the incisions in recipient areas, and performs all types of techniques from DHI transplants, to sapphire FUE and even designing a range of his own incision tools for the greatest results.

He has received feedbacks by illustrious people such as Mr. Michael M. Honda, consultant and executive manager of “Obama Care” of the previous president of the USA, Barack Obama himself. Mr. Honda visited the Dr. Acar clinic Cosmedica and underlined how Turkey has become a fundamental country for medical tourism and how this trend is accelerating in the lasts years. Moreover, he went on to say that “Turkey is a country in which the quality of surgeries is the highest and the prices more than reasonable reasonable, compared to anywhere else in Europe”
